So, I was in Florida with my parents this weekend for my second cousin's bar mitzvah (more on this to come). We got home, went back to my parents' apartment, and we ordered some Chinese food. And this was my fortune:
Perhaps you have been focusing too much attention on saving.

Bwah!
"Now, buy some more shrimp with snow peas!"
BTW, you and your mom might like to know that all three credit bureaus are going to offer fee-based freezes (which is good if you are in a state that doesn't already offer them).
HAHAHAHAHA!
*wiping the tears away* That's hysterical, exactly what I needed on a Tuesday morning!
:)
Hah!
Lol. That's great!!! :-D
Wow :)
That is a strange coincidence if you believe in them. =)
those things get spooky sometimes!
Oh nonsense!
There is no such thing as too much savings1
As a fortune cookie, it seems kind of silly, but Stephanie-- it is too possible to save too much. I have no debt, live well within my means, and have good savings. But I also put off or never do end up buying some things I need or want, even small things. It all goes into savings.
It may sound like an enviable situation, but I've been trying to unbend about spending money for years. It's like being an an anorexic in a culture of obesity: there are plenty of people who need to lose weight, but it's still possible to be too thin.
