OMG, you guys, I don't even know what I'm going to do if I can't procure this dress for myself for spring and summer polka-dot gloriousness. At $138 (plus shipping, if I can't find it in the real world), it's well-nigh three paychecks' worth of clothes budget.
Perhaps I really will be a good little consumer and spend my economic-stimulus check on clothes.

That's adorable. This time of year is so hard not to go and spend a million dollars on cute dresses.
P.S. Have you ever been to Charles' Southern Style Kitchen? I think it's around you, and the fried chicken is just about the best damn thing I've ever eaten.
Oh my gosh, SO cute.
And so not practical for my life. But I am liking the idea of spending the stimulus check on clothes......
i would look so cute in that dress. (feel free to roll your eyes at me now, LOL!) i like your taste!
when i find a piece like that i really really want, i think of it as an investment - which means i will be wearing it to every single event under the sun that i can because i love it so much!
hipster.
kris, I've never been--I looked it up, and it's a little north-westerly of us, but it'll go on my list for checking out. As of now, though, when I eat soul food, I do it at Amy Ruth's, and...mmm.
stackingpennies, I'm getting more and more serious about that--it might be a good way to pick up a few things for spring without having to disrupt my savings plans.
Sistah Ant, it's good to know we're on the same page!
Erin, I'm not sure I can get all the way to "investment," but for a dress I'll really love, I'm happy to spend a not-insignificant sum and just call it money well spent. I know that brand (Donna Ricco) pretty well, and I'm confident that the dress will last.
Anonymous, if loving that dress is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
that is really.. bloody cute. But not in green for me.. maybe in ivory + white
or navy
But you've got some hot taste!
